Do you realize the information you are giving on original sin is wrong?

Do you realize the information you are giving on original sin was NOT, created by GOD. We are not sinners. We are not born sinners. We do not live in sin, we just are no more no less. This idea of original sin is not biblical, it was created by Saint Augistine to boost attendance in the catholic chruch. During the middle ages people stopped relying on the church and started finding their own way to god. The concept of original sin, or being born sinners was a business decision. Saint Augistine needed to boost attendance in order to keep several churches viable. So they told the masses they couldnt get to heaven unless, they came to church and had a ritual performed, that would make them right with God, and they had to pay for this ritual. And then again upon their death they had to pay the church again in order to get their last rights, so they could go to heaven. This eventually manifested itself in modern religious tradition. I admire your commitment to help others looking for a reason to live, but for Christ sake do your reasearch. People need reasons to live based on reality not fantasy.

My response is in Green:

Wow, I sure like the way you buttressed your argument with so much Scripture. If we are not born as sinners and if we are not now sinners then we have no need for a Savior, in which case Christ died for nothing. You are the one who needs to do some research. Try by reading your Bible.

(Romans 3:22-24 NIV) This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, {23} for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, {24} and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Notice it says all have sinned!

You claim we are not born sinners. God disagrees with you. (Genesis 8:21 NIV) The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done. Every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood.

(Luke 5:31-32 NIV) Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. {32} I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Now if no one is a sinner, then what was Jesus talking about?

You tell me what this verse means if it does not refer to original sin: (Romans 5:19 NIV) For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

(Romans 5:8 NIV) But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. How could this verse be true if we were never sinners?

You really should read your Bible. I don't know maybe you don't believe in the Bible either. It is just a shame that you think you are wise but have no idea what you are talking about. Without sin we need no forgiveness, so if you believe you are not a sinner then I don't see how you could have ever repented and become a Christian. You should really do some soul searching and see what you believe, it holds eternal consequences.
