What makes you think your beliefs are correct and everyone else's are false?

Listen you hoaky fruit. What makes you think your beliefs are correct and everyone else's are false? Religion is for narrow-simple-minded people. God does exist anybody with half a brain can know that they don't make the sun rise and the grass grow. You have no idea what lays on the other side. No one does and no one can I don't care how righteous you think you are or how tight with your faith you think you are. Pushing your beliefs on other people, especially vulnerable people, is completely wrong. God loves all and does not discrimante between whether someone goes to this church or that one or whatever. Why would an all-loving God make faulty material (don't quote me some B.S. bible verse)? The book you spue from is man-made, it is complete circular arguing to say that the bible is the absolute truth. Religion is man-made and it's religious fluzzies that scare people away from understanding a greater being than themselves that could give them direction. Get an open mind dude. Who know's? Maybe the great creator will judge you for being so pushy and pusuasive with your unsubstantiated views (and maybe me too, but no one will ever know that until that time comes). Give this some thought and take this nonesense of the net.

My response is in Green:

Hoaky fruit? Well at least you are original. That is the first time I have been called that. I am sorry my faith bothers you so badly, but it does not surprise me.

You stated that religion is for narrow-simple-minded people. Narrow-simple-minded? Who was it called whom a hoaky fruit? Pushing my beliefs on other people? Who was it visited my page and then wrote me?

You talk about my unsubstantiated views and you claim that the Bible is man-made. Where is your proof? Why not try to disprove the Bible? You would be doing millions of people a favor if you could prove the Bible to be false. Of course it might be a harder job then you think, since you would not be the first person to try. There is a danger too, you might become a believer if you find that it is true. No you should probably just stay in the darkness and not even read it or try to find out too much about it, it could be dangerous. Plus it might make you get that open mind you want me to have.

You asked me why I think my belief's are right, I am glad you asked that. I believe because of the very book you can't substantiate is false! (John 14:6 NIV) Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. See I didn't say it Jesus did. Hey I will tell you what, you don't have to prove that the whole Bible is false, why not just prove that Jesus was not real. Now that should be easier for you. Of course you will have to ignore most of the Roman records from 2,000 years ago, and all the eye witness accounts.

Even better, since the Bible is man made and religion is man made, why not write your own bible and start your own religion. Then when your bible is as popular and lasts as long as the real Bible even though whole governments have attempted to destroy it, you might be able to prove something.

I am happy that you at least believe there is a God. Too bad you don't want to know who He is. (James 2:19 NIV) You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder. They know there is a God but they are still on their way to hell. They have no way of obtaining forgiveness but you do as long as your have breath in your lungs. God loves you and wants you to know Him personally. Maybe you should investigate Him and see for yourself.

There are hundreds or predications in the Bible which were written hundreds of years before they took place. There are predictions in the Bible dating back over 2,000 years which took place in the last hundred years. You can dismiss the Bible as B.S. if you like, but if you do you are not being intellectually honest with yourself. Look at the middle east, are you going to tell me that the Bible does not address what is going on there? That it did not predict that Israel would be the center of world concern as far back as 4,000 years ago? There was not even a country called Israel for the past almost 2,000 years until 1946. Not bad for a book written by a couple guys who wanted to start their own religion!!

You asked how God could make something which was faulty. He didn't, what He created was perfect, but in His love He gave us free choice and we choose to sin. Each and everyone of us has sinned and that is what makes the world and us faulty. That is also why we need a Savior. God is holy and has to punish sin. Since we have all sinned we all deserve to be punished. The punishment for all sin is death, but God loves us enough that He sent His Son to die in our place. (Romans 5:8 NIV) But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. If you reject that love then you will pay for your own sins and that punishment is still death. Not physical death but spiritual death in hell. It is up to you. God won't force you, but He is reaching out to you with His offer of eternal life.

What a shame to know that there is a God and not get to know Him. I will pray for you. Will God ever tell me I was too pushy? I doubt it, if anything He will probably tell me I did not do enough to reach those He loves who are on their way to hell. So I will keep trying, but thanks for your concern.
