Ghost Dancer by John Case

This is a thriller fusing scientific and historical facts into a core of gripping suspense. Jack Wilson is a brilliant mathematician. He is also a diabolical madman, obsessed with the notebooks of inventor Nikola Tesla. Tesla claimed discovery of a weapon that used harmonic resonance to obliterate the molecular structure of any target. Now Wilson plans to adapt this weapon to dismantle the technologically interdependent components of Western civilization - and annihilate life as we know it.

John Case is a good suspense/thriller writer and this book is no disappointment. Lots of twists and turns and some surprises make this an interesting read.
