Let My People Go

This is a very powerful book. It describes the plight of the Southern Sudan population. They live under the fear of slavery and killing by the Muslim government. Cal Bombay took two trips to Sudan in the late 90's. He and his team were able to redeem about 500 slaves. This book tells the story of those two trips and some of the stories of those who were redeemed.

The world remained silent as these, mostly Christians, were murdered and their wives and children sold into slavery. The women were abused sexually and many were circumcised. Many were forced to convert to Islam. Please get this book and read it.
